OUR STORY
We are a Scandinavian couple, Benedikte & Tobias, who fell in love with Lake Como years ago. With a combined 25 years of experience in the hospitality and construction industry, we decided to fulfill our dream of opening a guesthouse in Menaggio. After years of dedication and hard work, Casa ToBé is now fully renovated—a welcoming retreat for those seeking Menaggio accommodation in a charming, authentic Italian village.
We chose Menaggio for its prime location in the center of Lake Como, offering easy access to both sides of the lake, stunning mountain landscapes, and world-famous cultural sites, including the grand villas of Como. Our home, a nearly 200-year-old house in the historical hamlet of Loveno, blends its rich history with a modern Scandinavian touch. Lake Como is a destination with pure beauty, a marvelous nature and breath-taking views, from where you can walk, relax, discover the peace and enjoy the calm of your holiday.
Menaggio is located on the western shore of Lake Como, in a strategic position between Como, Sondrio and Lugano. In Menaggio you find both the elegant majestic villas, unspoiled nature with hiking paths, historical sites, an 18-hole golf course, as well as a Lido and beaches. Our guestshouse is in the historical area of Menaggio, Loveno. Here you can enjoy the tranquility with access to everything that Lake Como has to offer. To reach the lake it’s a 1.2 km walk. After a great day out, enjoy a drink at our sunny roof terrace.
